SysTest Labs Partners with TIA to Launch New IT Security Assessment Services for Financial Institutions
SysTest Labs, a Denver-based national leader in software testing and quality assurance, has partnered with Technical Information Associates (TIA) to expand its service offerings to meet the growing IT security needs of small to mid-size financial institutions.


    /Colorado News Articles/ - DENVER, CO, August 01, 2008 - SysTest Labs, a Denver-based national leader in software testing and quality assurance, has partnered with Technical Information Associates (TIA) to expand its service offerings to meet the growing IT security needs of small to mid-size financial institutions.

Together, SysTest Labs and TIA help banks meet Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) requirements by providing a security examination of a bank's current IT environment, and developing appropriate IT policies and procedures for internal systems and third party applications. Available now, SysTest Labs will provide network vulnerability scan and penetration testing to identify potential security issues. As part of the offer, TIA will provide a series of recommendations on IT policies and procedures, and deliver training to address vulnerabilities identified in the scan.

"From compliance regulations to customer information management, organizations in the financial services sector face unique IT security challenges," said Ron Wood, SysTest Labs' director of security services. "With our new suite of IT security services, we can now help financial institutions identify and remediate vulnerabilities in their IT infrastructure before they become a threat."

SysTest Labs and TIA have the expertise to help financial services clients develop contingency plans for disaster recovery and incident response. Their system security professionals can also help create custom policies, procedures and training programs that will help minimize risks and reduce costs associated with IT systems.
