The Delectable Egg to Participate in Dining Out for Life
On April 29th The Delectable Egg will give 25% of sales to Project Angel Heart

DENVER, CO, April 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In a single day, the fun, mutually beneficial efforts of Front Range restaurants, enthusiastic diners, and volunteer ambassadors will raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit people living with life-threatening illnesses in metropolitan Denver. For the 2nd straight year, The Delectable Egg will be a proud host restaurant of the 16th annual Dining Out for Life event on April 29.

Dining out for Life is an event held by Project Angel Heart to deliver nutritious meals to those suffering from life threatening illnesses such as AIDS or Cancer, at no cost. On April 29th, The Delectable Egg and participating restaurants will donate 25% of their sales to Project Angel Heart. Last year, 335 restaurants and 80,000 diners participated in Dining out for Life, raising over $340,000 for Project Angel Heart. This year, The Delectable Egg will once again open its four Denver-based restaurants from 6:30am - 2:00pm to Dining Out for Life in an effort to raise even more money for Project Angel Heart.

Denver-based Project Angel Heart (1991) and The Delectable Egg (1982) have created a tradition of being a positive force in the community since their respective inceptions. The Delectable Egg Co-Owner, Ken Thiesen noted, "Teaming with Project Angel Heart was a natural fit. Our shared commitment to enriching the lives of our community has been a core of our mission since 1982. Our entire restaurant team and loyal customers are looking forward to this event and supporting the Denver-wide fundraising efforts." Court Street location manager, Sharon Baumann said, "The true excitement is watching your dining room fill up knowing that 25% of your sales for that day are going to an amazing cause.
