Leader of Groundbreaking Home Depot-MTD Supply Chain Project to Join Demand Planning Software Maker
Leanne Moll brings innovative supply chain practices to Demand Foresight


CLEVELAND, OH, July 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leanne Moll, driver of the team that created a groundbreaking collaborative supply chain program for Home Depot and global outdoor power equipment leader MTD, has joined Demand Foresight as sales director.

While the Home Depot Partner Representative at MTD — whose family of brands includes Cub Cadet and Troy-Bilt — Moll led a data-sharing and analysis project that used Demand Foresight's next-generation, neural network-driven demand planning software to reveal how both companies could maximize sales and minimize overstocks in a highly seasonal, multimillion-dollar supplier-retailer supply chain. The program also led to improvements in Home Depot's management of its distribution centers. It was the first time that the retail giant had ever shared store- and item-level point-of-sale data with a supplier.
