Hiwan Golf Club Open To The Public: Play Golf & Help Local Public School
Hiwan Golf Club & Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen, a public tuition free school, Tee It Up Fore RMAE 3rd Annual Tournament. All Golfers welcome. Tournament held on September 19th at Hiwan Golf Club in Evergreen, Colorado.

EVERGREEN, CO, September 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For most people, playing golf at a private country club is a dream come true. Hiwan Golf Club is no exception. Not very often do opportunities arise where someone could play golf on this prestigious and well manicured course. However, once in a great while, those opportunities do come available.

On Monday, September 19th, Hiwan Golf Club is opening its doors to the public as it hosts the 3rd annual Tee It Up Fore RMAE Golf Tournament (RMAE Golf Tournament). Part of the registration fee will go back to Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen (a tuition free public school in Evergreen, Colorado).

Marie Lynch, part of the planning committee for the golf tournament commented, "We've always enjoyed having this tournament at Hiwan Golf Club. It is such a great course and they put on a great tournament." Lynch continued, "The monies that are raised really help our school and pay for teachers salaries. We just completed an 8,000 square foot addition to our facility, which includes four classrooms and a multipurpose room. We help support the school for both budget relief and long-term facilities needs."

The RMAE Golf Tournament is open to people of all skill sets. Tournament participants will have a 9:00am shot gun start. Participants will play an 18 hole shamble, have a chance to win an outstanding prizes, a hole-in-one challenge and be provided lunch and 2 drink tickets.

The golf tournament also caters to golfers more interested in a custom golf lesson. "The Caddy Shack Classic" will feature skills training by local golf pro Kyle Heyen. "The Caddy Shack Classic" will conclude with a skills challenge, prizes and lunch.

Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen Foundation is co-sponsoring the event for the 3rd year in a row. Lynch continued, "This is a great way for Denver and Evergreen Businesses to participate in the community. We also have a lot of interest from RMAE families, community members and people in the Denver metro area."

Head Professional Kyle Heyen, PGA from Hiwan Golf Club added, "This is a great chance to play a quality golf course and support your local public schools. We look forward to the RMAE Golf Tournament every year. It is a great group of players and sponsors and everyone is out to have a fun time."
